The release of various Google algorithms is one of the most sought-after news for many SEO specialists and website owners. And just recently, Google published a research paper on a new algorithm which can create original articles by summarising contents from different webpages. This way, Google can answer different queries without sending users to another webpage.
This new algorithm works by summarising multiple documents, including open source databases, public webpages and books. It utilises an Extractive Summarisation process which tosses out irrelevant parts of the content and only keeps the important facts that answer user’s questions. A good example of this is the Featured Snippets. Afterwards, it uses another kind of algorithm called Abstractive Summary to paraphrase the contents.
As of now, there is no word yet if or when Google will start generating new articles from various web content. But the published research paper already concludes that the experiment is a success and discusses how effective the algorithm is. Once implemented, Google can utilise many webpages to create informative and coherent articles, and webmasters and SEO experts alike should take extra effort when creating contents.
