In their official webmasters account on Twitter, Google tweeted that they have implemented a small update on Search Console. The improvement will allow SEO UK professionals, publishers and other users to go to a URL and click a tool-tip style icon to copy it onto their clipboards.

This small update allows users to hover over an icon and copy the URL. While this might not look like a major piece of progress, it is still significant when it comes to improving user experience. According to John Mueller’s repeated advice, redirects must be kept in place for a year. He even mentioned that it must remain live for “at least a year” now, not for about year.
